We found this beautiful place in 2012 and have been working on reviving its former glory ever since. The vistas are huge, the weather immediate, the buildings old and solid. It’s the kind of place where the false barriers between the man made and the natural world fall away. The kind of place where you can find a lot of space and little bit of peace.

Stay
There are five bedrooms - including a single, two doubles and two family rooms. Why not bring your friends and family and rent the whole Steading. It can comfortably sleep 12 adults. Alternatively rent one or a couple of rooms for a few nights. There is a two night minimum stay - it makes better sense environmentally.
Learn
We believe learning is a life long habit, not just something you do when you are at school. We want to provide a space to learn things that will enrich your soul. My theory is that if we are happier in ourselves, we are kinder to the world around us.

Cook And Eat
We believe food is key to everything. To life, to health, to relationships, to culture and to society. So we are creating somewhere people can cook on their own or together, eat on their own or together. And also learn together. Relax With Us
The 'Bull Box' has been finished - the perfect space to coorie in, to read a book, chat to friends, take some time out. The name is from what part of the room really was in its previous life - the room where the bull was kept! Thanks so much to the Baird family for their recent visit and all their wonderful stories about their lives here at Burmieston.
