Grow Your Own Cut Flowers and learn the basics of floristry 16th September
Come along to our workshops and learn how to grow and use your own cut flowers. The British cut flower movement has been growing quickly over the past few years with more than 500 local growers and florist/growers across the UK.
Our workshops will be led by Jill Sutherland of Flora Alba (www.floraalba.co.uk), who grows a wide variety of cut flowers close to Falkland Palace in Fife. Jill is in her 4th year of growing cut flowers, providing floristry and leading workshops.
In our September workshop Jill will show you floristry techniques such as hand tied bouquets and table decorations that you can make from your own flowers.
1-4pm with afternoon tea included. £45. Please advise of any dietary requirements. Book your tickets here: https://bpt.me/3405662
Mindfulness Day Retreat 10th November
For many of us, life can be busy and we don’t often give ourselves permission to stop and take time out. But sometimes that is exactly what we need to do. In her one day Pressing Pause retreat, Susan will guide you though a day of mindfulness practice in a peaceful space where there is nothing you need to do other than enjoy the space, the delicious and nutritious home made food and allow yourself reconnect in the stunning countryside of Perthshire. You will leave feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and reenergised.
This retreat is aimed at people with some awareness of mindfulness. If you have no experience of and would like to explore mindfulness on this kind of retreat, get in touch with Susan to find out when she’s running her next Introduction to Mindfulness retreat (www.sgdevelopmentsolutions.com).
