If you like your getaways to have a little bit of adventure, then you should put a quad biking excursion on the top of your list. Highland Offroad offers some great quad biking experiences, not far from Burmieston. They are located in Dunkeld, just off the A9.
Reasons Why Quad Biking Is A Great Holiday Activity
Just in case you really need some convincing, here are some reasons why we think quad biking is a great activity for your stay in Perthshire;
The Weather Doesn’t Matter - You can go quad biking in any weather, sun, rain and even snow. The folks at Highland Offroad will make sure you have the gear you need for any weather. You just need to make sure you dress sensibly for the weather. Once you’re on the bike, it won’t matter what the weather is doing. You’ll be having too much fun to notice.
A Different Way To See The Scenery - Your quad biking adventure takes place on a 280-acre estate. As you are riding around, you will get a chance to see lots of the wild highland beauty Scotland is renowned for. You cover a lot more ground than you would on foot. Plus, you’re a lot closer to nature than you would be in a car. It’s the best of both worlds.
Do Some Wildlife Spotting - The quad bike tours run every day, so they have become part of the character of the estate. This means that even though you are riding on a quad bike, you are still going to get the chance to see a lot of the local wildlife.
You Don’t Need Any Experience - It really doesn’t matter what your experience level is. If you have never been on a quad bike before it’s no problem, the instructors will get you up and running in no time so you can leave with a newfound skill.
