Make-I-Do has been making and inspiring for 2 years in Pitlochry, Perthshire. 'Crafty Hens' started when a bride-to-be wanted to help with making pretty jars for her flowers. Since then Make-I-Do has encouraged others to make inspired items for themed parties or events. A 3 hour crafting session with Make-I-Do at Burmieston Farm and Steading is a perfect way to switch off from technology and tune in to your creative side.

Perthshire’s first ever ESCAPE BARN!
Escape rooms are popping up all over the place but this is certainly the first escape barn in Perthshire and as far as we know, the whole of Scotland! It is a challenge especially designed for Burmieston’s threshing barn.
In keeping with the ethos of Burmieston, you won’t find any high tech gadgetry or power hungry special effects, just a barnful of cryptic puzzles and mind-bending challenges to solve using a sprinkling of lateral thinking, a big dollop of mental agility and a bucketful of teamwork. It’s ideal for team building, hen and stag events or just to challenge family and friends.
Everything needed to get OUT…. will be IN the barn, with a puzzle master on hand to give a clue or three if required! Its designed ideally for teams of 4 – 6 (or just two or three if you think you’re super bright!) Age – probably 14 and over depending on how clever you think you are!
So, have you got what it takes to beat the clock and free yourselves from this unique barn challenge in under 60 minutes? There’s only one way to find out… put together a team and book your time slot at Burmieston now! £60/team with up to 6 per team
Susie can teach you and your group a range of topics, from earring and bracelet sets to jewellery bouquets. It's a great opportunity to mix the old with the new to create something unique. For example a 2.5hr workshop would be £29 per Person. A popular theme is for the group to make cocktail rings.

Everyone goes home with a box of beautiful and very unique handmade chocolates! £32/person
Why not have a walk with Daniele from Perthshire Wildlife? Her passion for the surrounding environment is infectious and very illuminating. You could walk from Burmieston or meet her for a beaver safari down the road. Children enjoy her company too as she pulls wings out of her rucksack to reveal the secrets to flying and has lists of local fauna for them to tick off when they spot them.
